Contract UX Designer

We're hiring a Senior UX Designer to join our Minneapolis team. This will be a 6 month contract to start with a likelihood to extend. This contract position is a hybrid role, based onsite 3 days a week at our office in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities Include:

• Design graphics for digital content i.e., social posts, blogs, press releases, web
• Design branding materials for events
• Support design needs for two internal websites, and have the ability to audit websites to initiate updates and improvements
• Design toolkits and other education materials
• Create assets for partner pitches to support Business Development
• Salesforce email marketing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, product owners, business analyst, developers, and marketers, to design and implement user-centric solutions
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital products
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design and incorporate them into the design process
• Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to refine designs

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Ability to adapt to brand voice
• Work and coordinate with external creative agencies
• Experience working with an internal or external marketing teams
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) a plus
